Curtis J. Phillips finalized its upcoming Grand Am Tournament team late Monday night evening as they added Canadian and Winnipeg, Manitoba resident Ricardo E. Martinez to the roster. Martinez, 36, is in his twelfth season playing for
Shaka Dula in Winnipeg's Men City League. At six foot, three inches tall Ricardo patents his game after his basketball idol Tim Duncan. "Ricardo loves basketball. His enthusiasm for the game is top notch. He plays with a team first attitude and can knock down bank shots with the best of them. We are excited to have him on board and feel he will fit in right away" said CJP general manager and captain Daniel Sondreal. Martinez will be wearing the number 4 jersey and will be playing in his second Grand Am (2012).
