Canadian D.J. Dupasquier added to CJP Grand Am Team

With Ricky Shiu having to pull out of the upcoming Grand Am Basketball tournament in Grand Forks, ND, team Curtis J. Phillips was in desperate need of a point guard. And once again they tapped into their Canadian talent pool and thanks to the recruiting of fellow Canadian and CJP big man Ricardo Martinez they found a superb replacement in D.J. Dupasquier. Dupasquier, 20, is a 5'6'' guard who will bring much needed speed, quickness, and youth to the team. "D.J. has great ball control and breaks people down off the dribble on the regular. And if he gets on one of his hot streaks from beyond the arc, whoooooo! Watch out!" said Martinez in an interview with NBC Sports. Dupasquier will be competing in his first ever Grand Am and will be wearing the number five jersey.
